About Me

My yoga therapy practice bridges holistic healing and social transformation, viewing wellness as a journey of personal and collective liberation. I recognize that individual healing is inseparable from systemic oppression, historical trauma, and community resilience.
By integrating evidence-based behavioral techniques with yoga’s mind-body practices, I’ve created a framework addressing psychological well-being through cultural understanding and social justice. Sessions support individual healing while revealing how personal experiences connect to broader social dynamics.

My approach acknowledges that mental wellness links to systemic inequities, exploring how historical trauma, racism, and marginalization affect mental health beyond symptoms alone.
Clients experience a collaborative, compassionate approach that validates unique experiences, provides emotional regulation tools, supports healing from personal and intergenerational traumas, and fosters critical consciousness.
Together, we create a transformative space where your personal healing intersects with broader social change, empowering you to reclaim your unique wholeness and inner light while finding meaningful connections to collective liberation.
LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
I live and work on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Tongva (Gabrieleno) peoples. I extend my deepest gratitude to these First Peoples who continue to live on these lands and care for them, and whose relationship to these lands existed from time immemorial and long before the “discovery” of Los Angeles and California.

I want to thank @crissylunahealth from the bottom of my heart for helping me heal, not only being the MOST important member part of my team! She helped guide me to a diagnosis and healing thru healing foods. I literally do not know where I’d be without her! (It wouldn’t be good) I really recommend her – for anything.
The biggest tangible change I have noticed since beginning the program has been that I am more aware of what my actions are and their consequences. Crissy is good at asking questions that allowed me to dig deeper in to my psyche to understand why I am the way I am or make the decisions I make. The most significant overall change I have noticed has been that I now know why I’ve been struggling with spending too much or not completing things. Crissy helped me realize something from my past that lead to my spending habits and being non-committal to the simplest of things. I have learned to go easy on myself and to show the same compassion and empathy that I show others for myself.
[I have] less anxiety and no desire to return to old habits!
Participating in Crissy Luna’s Clean Slate program has been the highlight of my year. Thanks to Crissy’s expert guidance and the social support of the other program participants, I now feel much more optimistic and empowered to make choices that will best serve my body’s needs. I highly recommend the program to everyone who is feeling hopeless and at a loss as to how to improve their physical and emotional health. I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in the program
Crissy offers a unique, holistic approach to wellness by connecting the dots between diet, lifestyle, and physical and mental well-being. As a functional medicine practitioner, who has experienced first-hand the frustration of coming up empty-handed after undergoing run-of-the-mill CT scans, X-rays, and MRIs, Crissy offers a fresh perspective and delivers tangible results that you can see and feel.
Crissy is one of the most passionately caring people I know. She has a desire to be better and to help better people exactly where they are. Crissy has assisted me by patiently walking me through different ideas around making some minor and some major adjustments in my life that has dramatically changed my quality of life. Crissy not only gives me options that will enhance my life, but she also gives me the why and the how. I am now more flexible, energetic, and have more clarity in my thoughts.
The biggest tangible change I have noticed since the beginning of the program has been more energy and better mood. I felt more in control of my eating. I was in a better mood and had more energy. Crissy was very supportive and non judgemental. I really enjoyed the process and the group.
Crissy helped me to improve my attitude towards food by teaching my how to recognize how my body reacted to different things. Meditation and mindfulness were significant to my progress. The biggest tangible change I have noticed since beginning the program has been my ability to recognize what my body is feeling, how it reacts toward food, and listening to what it is telling me. My relationship with food has drastically changed. Now I strive to eat in a way that best supports my wellbeing. This is no longer a burden or a challenge, but something I genuinely enjoy.
She is supportive and personable and understanding about what I was going through throughout the program and celebrated each success with me. She answered all questions I had and was always available. She also understands that each person had different goals, morals, and life styles and remembers this when giving advice and suggestions. I would recommend her to anyone looking to improve their overall wellbeing, mind and body. Anyone who wants to redefine their relationship with food.
Crissy genuinely cares about you. She will work with you. She will listen to everything that you have to say. She will come up with a plan that works for you no matter what issues you have or goals you want to achieve. She is someone you can completely trust and is someone who is honest and will make sure you succeed in whatever goals you have set out to achieve. This has been a wonderful experience for me to not only get healthy and learn about different foods, and exercises but go much deeper and learn about myself. The holistic approach to a diet is not just physical but psychological and to be really healthy and happy you have to address your body and mind together and working with Crissy is just that. I recommend her to anyone!
